Hi! I moved to the Outer Banks the summer after I graduated from college, promising my parents it was just for the season! Over 20 years later, I am still happily living here with my husband, 2 children, and 2 pups! I received my bachelor of arts degree from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and found myself in the restaurant world of the beach. After I had my first son, I realized my true calling was to be a nurturer, caregiver, and healer. As a new mom, I also began to study and adopt more naturopathic modalities when applied to my family’s health. That led me to explore an education in massage therapy.
I attended The American Institute of Massage in Richmond, Virginia in 2011. Since receiving my massage therapy license, I have practiced in Virginia and North Carolina in a variety of capacities including a naturopathic medical office, a chiropractic office, corporate chair massages, and a massage and yoga studio. I have received continuing education in prenatal, postpartum, and infant massage (I really love working with moms and babes), reflexology, massage for cancer patients, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, massage for addiction, table thai massage, massage cupping, kinesio taping, and level II reiki. I also became a certified yoga instructor in 2018 through The Amalam School of Yoga. These trainings and years of experience allow me to offer a customized, unique, and therapeutic massage experience for each client.
